SUEZ recognized by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World index for the quality of its overall performance

For the 10th year running, SUEZ has seen its economic, environmental and social performance recognised through its inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World index, and was ranked 3rd in the Multi-Utilities sector after two energy companies :
>1st out of environmental companies
>3rd in the "Multi and Water utilities" sector

Created in 1999 by S&P Dow Jones Index, in conjunction with RobecoSAM, the DJSI indices assess the 2,500 biggest companies by market capitalisation to find the top-performing 10% of businesses in their sector in terms of corporate social responsibility. A pioneering force in the assessment of businesses’ extra-financial performance, these indices have become a key indicator for socially responsible investment.

As further proof of SUEZ’s leadership in terms of extra-financial performance, the Group was awarded ‘prime’ status for 2018 by the Oekom ratings agency, and was also ranked 1st in the Utilities – Water sector in the FTSE4Good index.
