Transport and management of hazardous waste from Ecuador

PetroEcuador and SUEZ- through its Industrial Waste Specialties (IWS) subsidiary supporting the international teams - successfully partnered up to transport 3,000 tons of sodium hydroxide from the Esmeraldas refinery (Ecuador) to the Roussillon chemical platform (France) for treatment. This operation, which was challenging on a number of fronts, is a great example of how SUEZ meets the needs of its industrial customers such as Petroecuador, Ecuador’s national energy production company.
