SUEZ takes part in the 1st Panel of Women Leaders and the 1st leaders’ summit at the International Desalination Association Congress in Dubai (21-24 october)

SUEZ is reaffirming its position as a key actor in desalination and wastewater reuse by actively participating in the two major upcoming events being organised this year by the International Desalination Association (IDA) at its World Congress which will be held in Dubai from 20 to 24 October 2019.

Annelise AVRIL, CEO of SUEZ Consulting, will be taking part, alongside the most dynamic female figures in the water industry, in the first Women Leaders Panel in this field organised by the IDA on Monday 21 October from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the plenary hall. Panellists will share their views on emerging trends and how the sector can become an incubator to encourage more women to pursue their careers in the water industry.

As part of the 1st Leaders' Summit held by the IDA, Didier Sachot, Vice President of SUEZ's activities in the areas of financing, construction and operation of water treatment facilities, will discuss the Group's innovative ideas for mitigating the risks of financing major projects in the water industry in order to attract more investors, during the “Bankability of Major Projects” session on Tuesday 22 October from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

SUEZ, a global expert in all stages of the water cycle, is also a sponsor of the 2019 IDA World Congress “Crossroads to Sustainability” event, which aims to explore the development of desalination and wastewater reuse technologies to ensure the sustainability of water resources. The Group develops intelligent and innovative solutions to meet all municipal and industrial needs. In this context, SUEZ experts will participate in 4 technical sessions where they will present real cases where innovative processes have been implemented to improve treatment lines and the efficiency of plant operations over the long term.
Our experts will also chair or co-chair 5 other technical sessions.

SUEZ employees will be on hand to welcome you on the stand (stand C26) and to discuss with you the Group's latest solutions in terms of developing alternative resources to optimise and protect traditional water resources.
