The SMPRB and SUEZ officially launch the modernisation work of the DEWEN energy-from-waste plant in Taden (Brittany, France).
Arnaud Lécuyer, President of the SMPRB (Syndicat Mixte de Valorisation des Déchets des Pays de Rance et de la Baie) and David Lamy, CEO of SUEZ Recycling & Recovery France, laid the foundation stone for the modernisation and expansion work of the energy-from-waste plant in Taden, in the presence of Virginie Moreau, Deputy Prefect of Dinan. As part of a long-term strategy aimed at improving the plant’s environmental and energy performance, this project will provide the region with a virtuous tool promoting sustainable and local waste management.
“The SMPRB's energy-from-waste plant, located in Taden and operated by DEWEN, is a major asset for waste management and recovery in Brittany. Modern, efficient and environmentally friendly, it reflects the SMPRB and its partners' commitment to combine environmental responsability, territorial solidarity and economic efficiency for a more sustainable future.”
