Real-time supervision and management of all factors influencing plant performance

Composed of different modules adapted to each stage of water treatment, Aquadvanced plant provides daily assistance to operators, from supervision of plant operations to the automated management of treatment processes, ensuring optimal performance. This is a modular solution that adapts to the needs of any type of water treatment plant.

Real-time supervision for operational optimisation

Aquadvanced plant offers water utilities with one or more stations instant and precise monitoring of their plants’ performance, featuring an intuitive interface alongside a dynamic map view of their assets throughout their region.

At a glance, operators can visualise compliance across a variety of key themes such as: water quality, energy and reagent consumption, dynamism of sludge activation, and the availability and health of equipment.

A clear and intuitive colour-coded system indicates compliance, simplifying decision-making and enabling proactive, efficient optimisation of monitoring operations.

Automatic process control for optimal operation of each step of the treatment process

Aquadvanced plant has been developed to support operators in the precise and continuous optimisation of each phase of the treatment processes, significantly reducing energy and reagent consumption.

Drawing on a unique combination of artificial intelligence, mathematical modelling, and the deep industry knowledge within the SUEZ group, virtual sensors have been created that accurately forecast the key parameters of each process (O2, NO3, NH4, ORP).

The solution then adjusts operational settings in real time for optimal operation under constraints (economic, environmental and regulatory).

Replacing physical sensors with intelligent virtual sensors results in substantial savings on capital and maintenance costs, while enhancing the overall performance of operations.

Adjustments are made every 15 minutes, facilitating continuous optimisation and maximum responsiveness to changes in the process.

Some examples of optimisation modules available in Aquadvanced plant:

Aeration module

This module adjusts the blower start and aeration rate to reduce energy consumption by up to 25%, while ensuring treatment performance.

Primary Settling Module

Using a virtual turbidity sensor, this module precisely optimises the dosing of coagulants and other reagents, improving the efficiency of the settling process. This optimisation reduces reagent consumption for phosphorus (PO4) treatment by up to 20.

Aerobic Digestion Module

This module maximises digester performance of the in real time, increasing the annual biogas production by 5%.
