In Oise, France, we are placing social innovation at the heart of the circular and local economy

In the Hauts-de-France region, we manage more than 600,000 water meters for our local authority customers.
After 25 years in operation, these meters need to be renewed to ensure the ongoing reliability of the data. In 2024, we set up a partnership with the sheltered work organisation (ESAT) Clos du Nid de  l'Oise Univi Handicap to dismantle and recycle 40,000 used water meters a year in the region. No industrial dismantling facility previously existed in the region. This partnership will see up to 90% of the materials from the meters sorted and recycled.
