Best scientific publication award 2024
On September 25 & 26, we celebrated this scientific excellence during the Doctoral Days and the Best Scientific Publication Award, organised at CIRSEE, our research and expertise centre.
It was an opportunity to exchange ideas with around twenty PhD students through presentations and workshops, with a view to fostering links within our technical and scientific community.
The award, presented this year by Jérôme Bailly, Senior Vice-President in charge of Innovation, Research and Services at SUEZ, honoured two joint winners from among 56 articles published in 2024, in international journals.
These works focus on methanation and methanisation and were written respectively by
- Patricia Camacho, Elise Crestey, Gilberte Gaval, Mathieu Haddad, Franck Lebars, Océane Nicolitch and Florian Paillet for the article ‘Utilization of dissolved CO2 to control methane and acetate production in methanation reactor', published in Bioresource Technology, volume 416
- and by Lorraine Awhangbo, Cyrille Charnier, Eric Latrille, Cyril Marcilhac, Vincent Schmitt and Jean-Philippe Steyer, in collaboration with INRAE team, for the article ‘Determination of the optimal feed recipe of anaerobic digesters using a mathematical model and a genetic algorithm’, published in Bioresource Technology, Volume 393
Congratulations to them, to all the contributors and to all our experts!
Through their rigorous and passionate work, they fuel innovation and strengthen the Group's scientific leadership.
