We are delighted to share our updated Green Finance Framework, the reflection of changes in SUEZ and the sustainable finance market since our inaugural Framework in 2022. SUEZ’s 2025 updated Framework is built on its strategic plan, sustainability strategy, and the work done on identifying SUEZ’s activities aligned with the EU Taxonomy.
SUEZ is proud to bring its Framework up to current best market standards by :further focusing on investing in its green CapEx and OpEx and financing activities aligned with the EU taxonomy technical screening criteria, for almost all the EU environmental objectives: climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, circular economy, sustainable use and protection of water and marine resources, and pollution prevention and control.
In addition, SUEZ is investing in innovative activities not in the scope of the EU taxonomy, but with great potential for environmental benefits, in line with its purpose and innovation strategy such as biochar, Waste to X, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage.
SUEZ thus continues to be a pioneer in Sustainable Finance markets, embedding sustainability into our capital structure, and mobilizing capital to scale up innovation.
