Transforming waste into new resources

The circular economy is the focus of this five-year contract (due in 2030) to transform recyclable waste into new materials and generate energy by recovering hazardous industrial waste.

Trust and strong relationships

To maximise their material recovery rate, Chantiers de l’Atlantique is the first client to whom we are offering a performance-based contract modeled after the one designed for local governments.
We rely on local recycling networks to ensure the recovery of construction and demolition waste (excluding SUEZ networks), which also helps to reduce CO₂ emissions.

Our solution

Adapted equipment to improve sorting at source

SUEZ supplied the shipyard with new equipment to make it easier to sort waste at source: skips, compactors, roll packers, containers, shovels and trucks to improve the transport of sorted waste on the loading dock (pallets).

A dedicated contract team

SUEZ has put a team of 20 people in charge of providing this contract's services.
