“Water & Health” seminar: call for applications

The 11th international “Water & Health” seminar will take place from 24 to 26 June 2019 in Cannes, France. Students have until 26 April to apply for the SUEZ “Water & Health” prize.

The seminar, co-organised by SUEZ, supports research into water quality and health carried out by young PhD students. It provides the opportunity for dialogue between students, research fellows and industrial players from all over the world.

The Water & Health seminar’s aims are to :

  • Favour the dialogue between young and senior scientists in this fast moving scientific area
  • Allow young researchers to discuss their results with internationally recognized scientists
  • Favour the dialogue between all disciplines contributing to the advancement of water safety
  • Identify new research needs to further improve water safety


A prize of €1,500 for the best research work

The seminar’s Scientific Committee will award a SUEZ prize to the student who makes the best contribution to improving water safety.

Participants will also be given the opportunity to publish their work in a special edition of the International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health.
