SUEZ environnement wins a 12-year contract for water management and wastewater treatment for the Alençon local authority in France
The urban authority in the French town of Alençon has renewed its trust in SUEZ environnement by signing a contract for the management of public drinking water services and wastewater treatment with its subsidiary, Eaux de Normandie. The two 12-year contracts are worth total revenue of almost €68 million. The contracts will come into effect on July 1st 2015. SUEZ environnement will offer all of its expertise to the 20 localities covered by the« water »contract, and to the 30 localities covered by the« wastewater treatment »contract, which together represent a population of about 50,000 inhabitants.
