The role of an expert at SUEZ consists of carrying out technical studies or projects of such a scale and complexity that they require a high level of expertise. You will then, contribute to the technical excellence of the company by transferring knowledge inside the company.
Assignment
Main activities
- He/she employs his/her expertise in studies or project management in the following fields:
- Urban water systems (wastewater or drinking water)
- River hydrology
- Hydrogeology
- Hydraulic structures (water treatment plants, retention basins, dams, etc.)
- Coastal and port infrastructures
- Oceanography
- Regulatory environment
- Civil engineering projects
- Urban development
- Transport
- Roads and networks
- Waste
- Energy/optical fibre
- Contributes to business development activities and prepares technical proposals
- Pushes the technical excellence of the company (technology watch, chairing specialist workgroups, participation in conferences, etc.)
- Transfers knowledge (tutoring, supervision of doctorates, etc.)
characteristics
- In a project, he/she may manage a team of project managers, project engineers, designers and technicians
- Manages two to five projects in parallel, totaling €50,000 to €500,000 on average
External corporate relations
Customers (local authorities or industry), academic circles, research centers, expert communities (conferences, professional associations and organizations, etc.)
Profile
Required experience

University-level education

At least 15 years of experience in one of our technical fields (hydraulics, civil engineering, urban development, transport, etc.)
