This innovative service enables authorities to track trends by usage category, anticipate revenue by forecasting consumed volumes, adjust water restriction measures, and monitor their impact. 

 

Since 2018, SUEZ has deployed 120,000 smart water meters in the territory of Le Mans Métropole. The goal? To provide a better quality of service to residents, by providing them with accurate information on water consumption, and alerts in the event of leaks or overconsumption.

To optimise its water network, improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction, the water authority has also opted for the AQUADVANCED® Water Networks real-time water management system.

The result, thanks to the combination of data from remote reading and the hydraulic network, is concrete benefits for the community and users:

• The responsiveness in tracking down leaks on the network significantly improves hydraulic efficiency: in one sector in particular, the daily night flow has been reduced by 30m³/h, equivalent to a gain of 250,000 m³ per year and €125,000 saved!
• The alerts have drastically reduced the requests for relief related to leaks.
