The mission
Transforming waste into new resources
The circular economy is the focus of this three-year contract to transform recyclable waste into new materials and generate energy by recovering hazardous industrial waste.
SUEZ is proposing an improvement plan to take waste recovery even further by enhancing the sorting process at source. One of the key objectives of the contract is "zero landfill".

Our solution
Adapted equipment to improve sorting at source
SUEZ supplied the shipyard with new equipment to make it easier to sort waste at source: skips, compactors, roll packers, containers, shovels and trucks.
A dedicated contract team
SUEZ has put a team of 14 people in charge of providing this contract's services.
Short-channel plastic waste recovery
SUEZ recycles and recovers plastic waste from the Saint-Nazaire shipyard at its Landemont plant in Maine-et-Loire, less than 100 km away.
A clear and simple improvement plan
SUEZ offered its customer Chantiers de l'Atlantique a clear and simple annual improvement plan for sorting ordinary industrial waste (OIW), ensuring traceability of all waste flow.
