Continuity plans rolled out in every affected country
For its industrial customers, SUEZ has implemented robust crisis management and business continuity plans in every affected country, for all its activities, and at every level (Group, business unit, regional, national and plant) in order to fulfill its contracts and services.
We are constantly examining and assessing the control measures, hygiene practices, and social distancing procedures we have adopted. They will be updated as necessary according to how circumstances and regulatory requirements evolve.
SUEZ supports the work of the productive forces behind those industries vital to the people
We have taken all necessary measures to ensure continuity of service for industry sectors such as food and beverage, energy and pharmaceuticals & life sciences. In the current circumstances, these are the industries that are most in demand because they supply the population’s most vital products – food, electricity, and medicines.
For these sectors, which have had to adapt to a temporary slowdown or, on the contrary, a significant increase in production, or even to a modification of certain production lines, we ensure the running of the installations through:
- the supply of the process water needed to produce essential consumer goods
- the safe waste and hazardous waste collection and treatment, in the strictest regulatory compliance
- the supply of the materials and treatment products necessary for operational and service activities at the production sites in which we operate.
We are also preparing a business recovery plan with our customers, as with Renault Tangiers in Morocco.
