Meeting essential needs
The SANAGA plant addresses the growing drinking water needs of the city of Yaounde, while supporting the economic and social development of the region. The project includes:
- Raw water pumping from the Sanaga River
- Construction of pumping stations
- Transfer of treated water to the capital
Technology and Quality
The plant is equipped with Pulsatube™ (clarification) and Aquazur™ V (sand filters) technologies, which have already been successfully deployed by SUEZ in several projects across Africa. These processes ensure excellent water quality and optimized environmental performance, in line with international standards.
