Challenges

The growing needs of a growing population

Population growth and exponential growth of cities, scarcity of water resources and increase of waste production, diversification of its economy and growing training needs, Africa faces many challenges and major changes. The growing needs, especially of water, of an expanding population must be met. Integrated water resource management and irrigation are closely linked to the future of African agriculture.
