SUEZ has the expertise and technologies required for managing and optimizing distribution networks, infrastructure condition diagnosis, and assessment and change over to smart networks.
Your Challenges

Improving your drinking water network performance and addressing all types of loss

Water resources and drinking water distribution infrastructures are continually coming under new pressure from population growth, economic development, migration, and urbanization. Apart from this escalating demand, all urban water infrastructures and utilities share another set of issues - vital among them being ageing water networks, and rising customers’ expectations of access to a continuous supply of clean water.

Despite these common challenges, most cities lack a unified approach to these challenges and a plan for the future.

Asset Management

SUEZ’s solution prioritizes water network renewal and rehabilitation, to optimize medium and long-term investment, and a preventative maintenance plan, which prolongs the life of network and preserves assets. We have expertise in enhancing the water supply network in India, including laying out new networks. Our GIS-based Water Information System assists our clients in strategic planning, resource mobilization, and utilization, streamlining management of day-to-day operations for the utilities.

Digitalization of data

In this highly digital era, our customers expect us to deliver increasingly interactive and connected solutions, to make their utility smart for real-time operations. SUEZ is a market leader and pioneer in using digital tools effectively to monitor networks, increase its efficiency and performance, optimizing the management of flows in real time and making a decision based on data.

Network Management

As an Operator, SUEZ optimizes the day-to-day management of your water network by monitoring flow and water quality in real time, implement and operate pressure management efficiently, to match actual needs with specific pressure regulation valves, linked to Information Regulation System.

Leak Management

SUEZ’s Helium Leak Detection technique is well adapted for cities of developing countries where intermittent supply, low pressure, non-metallic pipes, and noisy environment make detection with traditional techniques difficult and inefficient. The method needs no pre-localization for leak detection, is highly accurate, and finds more leaks, compared to any other technique in a network.

NRW Reduction

Non-Revenue Water refers to water supplied to the system but not billed to customers. To reduce loss and optimize drinking water distribution, we consider the full value cycle: from diagnosis to the efficient management of leaks, assets, and billing. That’s why SUEZ has developed a 360-degree approach that plans and implements tested solutions to optimize the performance of your drinking water distribution network.

Customer Relations and Revenue Management

Meeting customers’ expectations and improving services for them are among the top priorities for utilities these days. To help the utilize address these issues, SUEZ develops an accurate customers’ database, integrate it with the centralized SCADA system and Complaint Management System with the GIS database using Customer ID.
