Northern Ireland Water is reaching for the stars by using leading-edge satellite leak detection technology in its aim to cut leakage to sustainable levels.

South West Water has teamed up with SUEZ and their technology partners, the satellite data analysts ASTERRA, to use satellites to help find water leaks underground to help reduce leakage levels across its network.

Yorkshire Water and Aqua Enviro, the SUEZ owned wastewater technical consultancy, have developed a ground-breaking metagenomics project, which will be used to monitor and control performance at wastewater treatment works.

Aqua Enviro, the SUEZ independent wastewater technical consultancy, is working with Cranfield University on a project for an off-grid toilet, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Craig Lewis joins SUEZ Smart & Environmental Solutions as UK Business Development Manager for the Air & Climate Division. He joins from Cardiff Council where he was responsible for ensuring the effective management of all aspects associated with air quality, including the delivery of major air quality driven projects.
