Aganova launches new Nautilus sphere for pipeline condition assessment
Aganova, our partner in leak detection and pipeline inspection, has launched the new Nautilus sphere, a next-generation in-line inspection platform helping utilities shift from reactive repairs to smarter, more preventive asset management.
Aganova, a SUEZ technical partner, has announced the launch of Nautilus, the latest evolution of its in-line inspection technology for large-diameter water pipelines. Built on insights from more than 4,500 kilometres of real-world inspections worldwide, the platform is designed to make pipeline condition assessment more accessible, efficient and actionable for utilities and asset operators.
Key highlights:
- Introduces Smart Condition Assessment, using data captured during a routine leak inspection to also provide insight into pipeline condition, supporting both water conservation and infrastructure planning from a single field deployment.
- Fully redesigned architecture, from hardware to software, including a rechargeable wireless power system, enhanced data analysis, wireless connectivity and remote management, and a more intuitive user experience.
- Supports a shift from reactive repairs toward preventive, data-driven asset management, helping utilities prioritise interventions, plan maintenance and rehabilitation, and guide investment decisions.
