How Anglian Water Improved Water Supply Resilience with Production Planning

Anglian Water partnered with SUEZ to implement the Production Planning Module of Aquadvanced® Water Supply. The AI-powered platform creates a digital replica of the water supply system, incorporating operational constraints, abstraction licences and asset availability. It enables teams to model and compare multiple scenarios, optimise production strategies and generate coordinated plans across short-, medium- and long-term planning horizons. The solution was tailored to Anglian Water's operational and regulatory requirements through collaborative workshops and testing.

Aquadvanced® Water Supply reduced production planning times from hours or days to minutes, enabling operators to respond rapidly to changing conditions. The platform delivered reliable plans aligned with licence requirements, improved operational visibility through intuitive dashboards and supported faster, more confident decision-making. It also strengthened drought preparedness, improved incident response and helped inform strategic investment decisions, supporting a more resilient and future-ready water supply network.
