Proposed solutions
Since late 2019, in partnership with Derichebourg Environnement and Sulo, 2,100 Trilib’ containers for selective waste collection and glass recycling have been progressively deployed across the entire city of Paris.
To support the waste collector, Trilib’ containers are equipped with Sigrenea’s remote monitoring sensors, and we provide a software solution that enables real-time mapping and historical tracking of container fill levels.
Through S. MONITOR by Sigrenea, Derichebourg Environnement and the City of Paris can identify and visualize Trilib’ stations, receive alerts on fill levels and anticipate collections and prevent overflows.
Developments implemented
To provide real added value for the collection of Trilib’ stations in the City of Paris, we collaborated with Derichebourg Environnement to develop various web services and improve our solution:
- Real-time anti-overflow alert testing
- New "Blocked Door Alert" feature – During large events or demonstrations, an alert is triggered based on fluctuations in fill levels, allowing stations to be locked if necessary.
Measured benefits
- Reactivity of Derichebourg to plan the collection of Trilib’ stations and thus avoid overflows.
- Possibility to send an emergency collection truck.
- Time savings in organization at the collection level.
- Less CO2 emissions released in the city of Paris and reduction of truck traffic.
