Proposed solutions
We equip today more than 1,200 voluntary drop-off containers with our remote monitoring probes (fill level measurement), and provide a software solution allowing the global management of the voluntary drop-off container fleet, its collection, and its maintenance:
- Visualization in the form of a map of the containers (column models, fill level, histogram, …)
- Creation, by the Public Authority and the collection provider, of optimized collection routes based on fill levels or creation of referenced collection routes according to given frequencies.
- Routes sent automatically on board trucks on connected tablets allowing real-time tracking of the route as well as the reporting of collection incidents.
- Edition of automatic reports (collection, fill levels, …)
- Data analyzer: by stream / city / sectors.
- Creation of container maintenance routes (washing, repair, …) thanks to the integrated CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) module developed in partnership with the waste service
Developments implemented
From the beginning of the contract, a partnership relationship was established between the La Rochelle Urban Community and Sigrenea. Many requests for the evolution of our SaaS business tool were thus shared. La Rochelle Urban Community is a major partner that has helped improve our software offering thanks to the ideas and needs of operational teams.
Among the Main Notable Developments Thanks to La Rochelle’s Feedback:
- aEner’COM Version 4.7 (January 23, 2019)
- Maintenance Module
- Maintenance Reports Module
- Ener’COM Version 4.3 (October 11, 2017)
- Reports Module: Addition of a new sub-module "Data Analysis", allowing in-depth analysis reports “weight by city/stream”.
Measured benefits
The client reduced collection efforts by 30% while maintaining an overflow rate below 1%, thanks to the implementation of Sigrenea’s solution.
Human and technical resources initially dedicated to collection have been reassigned to other tasks (maintenance, cleaning, etc.).
Elimination of Container Overflows : thanks to the analysis module, the saturation rate of containers is efficiently managed…
