SUEZ has implemented an innovative water and wastewater treatment technology for one of the largest coal-fired plants in the world. Faced with drought conditions, the plant has limited freshwater resources.

SUEZ technology makes it possible to filter and reuse a maximum amount of water in the plant to significantly reduce operating costs and improve operational efficiency.
To transform the brine generated by the flue gas treatment, an evaporator and a crystallizer convert the brine to a dry salt, thus ensuring zeo liquid discharge.
