SUEZ increases the drinking water production capacity in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) of Sri Lanka has asked SUEZ to design and construct an additional phase of theKelani Right Bank drinking water production plant,near the capital, Colombo. The aim of the contract is to double the plant’s existing capacity, in order to supply the population in the north-eastern zone of the city and its surrounding area (the right bank of the Kelani River). The contract represents a total amount of EUR 168 million.
