On Tuesday 20 November 2018, Patrick Devedjian, President of Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council, and Jean-Louis Chaussade, CEO of SUEZ, sign the department’s new public service contract for wastewater treatment.
The contract, which will benefit 1.6 million inhabitants, is the largest of its kind covering wastewater network operation in the entire Île-de-France region. It focuses on two key objectives: to control discharge during wet weather and to manage stormwater in urban areas. The contract comes into effect on 1 January 2019.
